Stem Cell And Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Seminars
The Dallas PRP and Stem Cell Institute is proud to host free educational seminars designed for prospective patients and clinicians who are interested in the latest developments in Orthobiologics. We discuss the many orthopedic conditions like arthritis, back pain, muscle injuries, tendon injuries, and ligament injuries for which platelet rich plasma (PRP) or stem cell injections are being used and studied.
We will review the current “state of the art” for PRP and bone marrow derived stem cell use in orthopedics. We will also review using adipose tissue as an orthobiologic source that may be helpful in some conditions.
We also expose the many marketing myths and scams still present regarding orthopedic stem cell use, especially with amniotic fluid and umbilical cord blood injections (hint: these are not living stem cell injections and if they were they would be illegal in the USA!)
Seminars will be led by Don Buford, MD, an orthopedic surgeon, published orthobiologic researcher, and the Director of the Institute.
All seminars are at the main office location near downtown Dallas
